Environmental Sampling
Our technicians will be able to provide a full array of sampling profiles including stratigraphic split spoon, window sampler and clear shelby tube soil profiles, along with well installation to monitor soil, gas and groundwater. All techniques applied are coherent and adaptable to meet the customers needs within current industry standards.
While maintaining an onsite field workstation, our technicians will provide sterile sampling equipment for both soil and water. The client will only need to arrive with their sample jars.
Geotechnical Sampling
All field crews will be equipped to sample for soil load bearing tests. Equipped with a 140 pound drop hammer, our Standard Penetration Testing (SPT) is extremely accurate and can be tailored to our clients needs. No matter the application, our crews can mobilize our unit easily. Whether it is an active construction site, a backyard or green space, a roadway or downtown thoroughfare; the portable nature of our equipment allows us to tackle any site with ease.
Limited Access
The one common theme of our entire line up of sampling equipment is the inherent portability and ease of mobilization. As far as access we can get just about anywhere our clients need to go within reason. Furthermore, we strive to meet all of the goals of your project and adapt to suit site-specific requirements.
While some see limited access as a less powerful alternative to larger heavy duty drill rigs, we see the approach as a way to obtain accurate soil profiles in places where there is no other alternative. Furthermore we always do our best to maintain site integrity and try to leave a property very much in the condition that we found it upon arrival.
Anytime, Anywhere!
Providing mobile technicians based out of Victoria, BC; our two person crews will arrive in a fully outfitted van or trailer ready to tackle any job site. Along with our equipment we will provide an onsite workspace and shelter, coring drill to access boreholes below concrete or asphalt, water well tubing, flush/pedestal mounts, full stock of sand and benseal, along with full clean-up supplies to minimize site impact. Being such a small complete unit, we can access all of Vancouver Island, easily board ferries to access the lower mainland and further afield.
